RIDICULUSMUS at The Poor School

David Woods and Jon Haynes graduated from The Poor School in 1992 and immediately created Ridiculusmus. They have toured their work nationally and internationally for the last 25 years and are currently presenting their co-authored play Give Me Your Love around the UK.

They are the only graduates of the school who have never been out of work.

Please google the company to see the extent of their success.

David and Jon have agreed to perform extracts from a new work in progress at the school on Sunday 7th May at 7.30 pm. It is one of several valedictory events planned in the next year, the specific aim of which is to raise cash for the new incarnation of The Poor School; a fundraising charity which will give financial awards and support to dramatic work, whether acting or writing, which we think deserves it.

Every penny raised from this and other events will in due course be given away by the school to individuals or companies doing courageous work. The evening will begin with the show and, after a short break, be followed by a Q & A. We expect to finish at about 9.00 pm.

Entrance is by a minimum donation of £20. Everyone pays. Places are limited and the fittest of the audience may be asked to stand.
